About Marina

My personality traits or expertise that helped me to be a great caregiver are: Empathy and compassion. By showing both empathy and compassion I as caregivers let person I am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. Patience are mandatory attribute in caregiving field. People are habitual and like things the way they did before. It may not mean it is the right way nor appropriate and it is my job to find a way to let them know that they can't do that without getting upset or irritated. Reliable. A great caregiver is someone that can be counted on to be there. Trustworthy. Most people who need home care services are in a vulnerable position. They are inviting someone into their home to be near their valuables. A good caregiver is someone who is trustworthy in this regard, as well as in being trusted to keep the client's information confidential. Flexible. As with most things in life, home care needs may change and unexpected events can happen. A good caregiver will be prepared to go with the flow, being flexible, so that they continue to provide good home care, even if a rigid schedule isn't being followed. I started becoming a care giver because my grandmother was bed bound and was in need for someone who would care for her. Everyone who she had were not meeting her needs and some times she was crying. I was living far away from her and couldn't care for her. I thought if I would care for other people, G-d would send her good one and she would have all her needs met. With hope and desire to help I entered the field of care giver and cared for clients as if they were my grand parent who was in need to be cared at all times. I enjoy to see smile on people's faces. My personal achievements that I am proud of are: Highly inquisitive, motivated and resourceful. Energetic, patient, and diplomatic. You can contact me at (760) 409-9149

through my caregiving experience, i have learned that the people i care for teach me more about myself then i could ever learn anywhere else. i strive to have the people i care for live there life to the fullest, despite there physical or mental limitations. i have worked with a quadreplegic with muscular dystrophy, who was also a "stand up" comedian. Along with seeing a man paralyzed by cerebral palsy, live the joys of his life through poetry ever week. through my life of caregiving, i have learned the only limitations in life are the ones we make for ourselves. we can do anything we set our minds too.
