I am an avid listener, and I care for all of my clients like I would my own family. I originally got into caregiving because of my great aunt. She got put into a care home and wasn't getting good treatment so it made me want to change that and help others that are in a position like her. I enjoy hearing the stories and life experiences that each client has lived and getting sound advice from them. A personal achievement I'm proud of is not giving up even when I wanted to. One of my client's daughters was so horrendous that all of her mothers other caregivers quit except me. Because I knew how badly she needed someone to look after her. Her daughter was abusive and I had to turn her in to my old agency.
