I'm a patient person and very understanding, I love helping ppl that's one reason I chose this type of work, it's very self rewarding, what I enjoy the most about being a care giver is helping ppl with the most patience and affection,personal achievement I'm most proud of is sharing my time with the patient and making her feel like there's someone that cares about her and is there for her in whatever she needs.

After 25 years of caregiving experience, I am convinced that this is one of my life's passions; providing care services gives me great satisfaction. I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I'm looking now because one of my clients I had been caring for since 2015, unfortunately she passed away early November. I enjoy my work and I work very hard! Thank you so much, Cindy

I began my caregiven duties, with my mother back in 2014, she got sick and I began caregiving for her until she died in 2018, I began caregiving for my grandmother who passed away in 2019 it was a very rough ride for me, I learned a lot especially from my grandmother who was an RN before her passing. I knew then I had a heart for the work and I continue to do caregiving. My specialties are working with the Elders. I do have experience working with the hospice patience.
