I always want to be a nurse from a child. I would see family member get sick and I wanted to know why and how can I help. So my goal was to be the best nurse ever while I'm learning more and more. I enjoy being a good nurse and building a rapport with my patient so that the best care can be given. Some patient are willing to share more with their caregiver than family to receive the help they may need. It could be due to embarrassment or shame. I feel like being a nurse should not stop at just medication. I had a patient before that I was giving medications to and she was worried about her hair because her husband was coming to see her. I offered to do her hair and she was so excited. She wrote a letter to me thanking me. I feel you should always get to know your patients. I really love being a nurse,
