Hi, my name is Dulce Rojas. I am 21 years old and a college student. I attend Long Beach city college and am pursuing my masters in nursing. I aspire to work in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) as a surgeon. What inspired me to pursue NICU is due to my baby sister being born as a premature and having to stay in the hospital for 3 months on a ventilator. I also love working with the elderly due to my grandpa passing away and not being as close to my other grandparents. I love to help patients due to my interest in medicine and being able to bring happiness through a rough situation to the patients and family the same way they did to my family and I when my sister was born and when my grandfather passed away. Other than my educational interest, I love to dance, read, exercise, go to the beach, watch movies and documentaries. I have also started a small business in hair which I am so proud; a service I provide is Japanese Keratin and Collagen Treatment and am hoping to soon provide more hair services. I have a dog and two cats.
