As a TMS Technician I provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to our patients. Also responsible for administrative aspects including scheduling, requesting and tracking insurance authorizations, administering psychiatric rating scales, and patient charting. Responsibilities: * Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy. * Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment. * Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales. * Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software. * Communicate with a team of certified TMS psychiatrists who oversee patient treatment at multiple office locations. * Support the Patient Care Coordinator team as needed.

Orients new clients to health services, staff and procedures as well as services. Provides effective client care and vocational nursing duties and, as required, monitors and charts vital signs; administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians; notifies supervisor and/or physicians of any changes in client conditions. Performs blood glucose tests; fills out nursing observation sheets and reports. Perform duties as treatment nurse, including evaluating, cleansing and dressing wounds in accordance with Physician's orders, as needed. Carries out first aid measures in accordance with American Heart Association's First Aid Guidelines and departmental protocols under the supervision of the RN. Consults RN supervisor for level of care decisions. Utilizes Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in situations where a client is medically or mentally unstable and requires a higher level of care per department protocol. Reviews Psychotropic Medication Authorization completed by physician for accuracy and completes Order Regarding Application for Psychotropic Medication (Form JV-223) in accordance with legal requirements and sends/faxes to appropriate courts for approval Responsible for safely administering medications

Reviews self-harm log daily -- Observes, evaluates, records and reports to professional staff regarding changes in client's condition. Presents client's to psychiatrist to determine if client should be scheduled for psychiatric assessment. Participates in multi-disciplinary team conferences to share pertinent client information and collaborate with other mental health staff to develop and manage an effective treatment plan. Review clinician and court medication referrals, then interview clients for scheduling purposes. Observes, evaluates, records and reports to professional staff regarding changes in client's condition. Provide vital information to psychiatrists, regarding referral. Manage psychiatrists' schedule for medication referrals and follow ups. Coordinate providing release prescriptions with psychiatrists and case managers. Monitor, update and maintain psychotropic medication clients list /PMAs Within scope-of-practice guidelines, provides direct client care, completes required documentation, updates treatment team regarding client progress, and provides client, family members and significant others with referrals and linkage to community resources. (Psycho-Education & out reach Support) Assists in providing coverage for the "Hope" center (Crisis management) Facilitates groups Interprets for team when necessary

Perform general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care and training as dictated by the individuals' health and behavioral care needs. Performs nursing procedures as authorized within the scope of practice. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team and contributes to the development of the Individual Support Plan. Functions as lead staff on the shift and oversee DSPs and/or CNAs. Responsible for providing active programming at all times. Responsible for adherence to standards, procedures and schedules established by supervisor. Responsible for ensuring that any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse is reported in accordance with the law and program policies "Mandated Reporter"

Provide nursing, psychiatric and personal care to mentally ill, emotionally disturbed members Observe and influence patients' behavior, communicating and interacting with them and teaching, counseling while gaining trust. Take and record vital signs, using devices such as thermometers, blood pressure machines, glucometer. Develop and teach strategies to promote client wellness and independence. Restrain violent, potentially violent, or suicidal patients by verbal or physical means as required. Provide crisis response services, peer counseling, and provide linkage services and support for the members.
