I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

At time of start I was on the sub acute floor where I assisted adls of patients on breathing machines. I also did light front desk service which required helping and assisting families and doctors with patient records, answering phones,documentating,filing, at the mid to end of dates employed I became a "floater" cna/desk clerk which allowed me to fill in on any floor of hospital that needed a helping hand or due to short staffing, depending where I was placed my duties varied I had assisted quite often on the materity ward with the new mom an dads taking vitals and assisting with any adls I also helped in E.R, vitals and placing into rms documentating reasons to e.r , med /surg floor as cna and unit clerk.
