As a child both of my parents worked as caregivers until my mother furthered her education and became a CNA, a lot of my child hood was spent at some of the homes of the people my parents cared for, Seniors disabled mentally and physically, along with anyone who needed assistance. I watched the care, love, time, and dedication both my parents put in to each and every person, as a child i learned even into my adult hood that people need to know their loved ones are cared for and loved as they love them. Volunteering in high school i witnessed abuse and lack of care at a lot of these facilities that people would pay money, and hope their loved ones where treated with love and respect. My biggest achievement right now is that i'm still working towards an even better achievement. What excites me the most about being a caregiver is i am able to connect with all different walks of life, The beautiful individuals i have come to meet are astonishing. A simple smile, a kind warm hug...sometimes that's all it takes. My goal is to go to school for cosmetology and become one of the best beauticians of our time...on the side my goal is putting smiles on faces, and impacting people the best way i know how, with love and kindness. My appearance at first glance people may judge...My head is shaved to remember the loved ones i lost to cancer, for those who can't enjoy the simple pleasures of hair, to remember to keep fighting.
