Hi my name is Jade Alicia Ford. I am 21 years old and I live in Riverside Ca. I work at Brookdale in Corona with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients for over a year. What helps me be a great caregiver is that I get to spend time and listen to each of my residents stories. I come to work excited to see them, I love all of them and they have changed my life. What wanted me to be a caregiver was I use to take care of my grandpa. Me and my sisters did and it was just something I wanted to do in life. Not everyone can do this kind of job, it takes a lot of work, patience and dedication. And I'm proud to do this, it makes me happy and I'm glad that my residents trust me and get happy to see me right when I come into work.
