My care career started early in my adolescence helping my grandmother take care of my grandfather when he became ill . My grandmother was a good hands-on teacher and I learned how to be more patient through her. I understood young what caring for our most vulnerable meant in our communities. I get to be a part of community and assist with many different background families and the people that came before me. I'm also showing my daughter what it means to be a part of a career that comes with pride and knowing I was able to assist in the most important parts of peoples lives.
