Greetings! My name is Melissa Espitia and I am a full-time student at the University of Phoenix; I am pursuing a degree in forensic psychology and hope to continue on to medical school in the future. I currently work at Mission Commons, one of the communities of Holiday Retirement, located in Redlands, California. I absolutely adore working with the elderly! It has now been three years since I first became a caregiver and let me tell you I am genuinely in love with what I do. It makes me so happy to see how grateful people are and how strong your relationship becomes after spending so much time together. My passion for taking care of people came at an early age, as my mother was a hospice nurse for years and would continuously see her interact with patients.
