My specific title was "Job Coach", I looked over seven clients as they did warehouse tasks such as sorting through inventory, packing and unloading. I kept a daily log of the clients process and goals and would submit paperwork twice a month to be seen by the clients assigned regional center worker. This job has provided me experience with individuals who needed my undivided attention and care to ensure their safety and success. Since I graduated High School, I was given the opportunity to assist my Aunt who is disabled and needed assistance bathing, using the restroom, transferring from wheelchair to bed and anywhere she needed to be placed. I needed to keep her on a strict medication schedule, as well as a food schedule. During the time I also assisted my Grandmother with house duties such as, laundry, dishes, cooking and everything in between to ensure a comfortable living situation for the both of them. This experience was my introduction to becoming punctual, aware and attentive of all needs my aunt needed.
