I became a caregiver because of my experiences with my grandparents being sick. I wasn't able to help them as much as I wanted to because I was young. After I graduated high school, they had already passed but I still felt the need to help the elderly. Maintained patient’s records. Cleaned and sterilized instruments. Operated electrocardiograph and other equipment to administer routine diagnosis test. Keyed data into the computer to maintain office and patient records. Escorted patients to and from rooms. Obtained proper signatures from patients for treatments to protect office interests.
