Through my experience of being a caregiver for over 7 years , i have gained the ample knowledge on how to properly care for elderly patients and it has taught me to be understanding , compassionate , patient , towards my patients needs . What attracts me about being a caregiver is the ability to help my patients and their families . Being a caregiver is not easy , however it's very rewarding to see the peace and happiness a caregiver can give someone . I enjoy being able to support my clients but also be able to be there when they really need someone to be . A personal achievements i am proud of was working at the assisted living I worked at last . It was a very rewarding experience . I created so many friendships with my patients that I'll hold in my heart forever .
