I was intrigues by the job of a caregiver through assisting my grandparents whom I have a whole new view of after caring for them. They have taught me how to be more patient and to enjoy every minute or hour for what it is. Doing things at a slower pace has shown me how to be more appreciative and notice things i was blind to before. My favorite part in this field is seeing a transformation in the attitude in my grandparents when they woke up. After I began to take them out of the house to redirect their redundant daily activities, I saw a spark or energy that drove them out of bed and had them planning out what they wanted to go do for the day. That was an exciting moment for me.
