Administering prescribed medication to residence per doctors instructions and record in MARS. Re-ordering medication from pharmacies and calling physician's office for prescriptions when needed. I was brought in by the daughter's of the Franze family. To provide one on one care in the evening for their mom. Mrs. F had dementia and needed a companion to help when she was confused. I assisted with personal hygiene, bathing, shaving and getting dressed. We would go for walks, play air hockey, read poetry, visiting with her husband and play the piano. At least twice a month I would take Mrs. F out to a sit down dinner. When the holidays came around Mrs. F told me she loved to decorate her house. So with the permission of the family I took her to the store to pick out decorations, to be able to decorate her home. I also gave her weekly pedi's and mani's. I had such a wonderful relationship with Mrs. F, when her daughter's would come and visit, she would introduce me as her roommate and personal decorator.

Assisted in comprehensive care of residents with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Provided residents with safe, fun and engaging activities to ensure that their days are happy and fulfilling. My friend Miss. Peterson was in a car accident. Her mom was the was the soul supporter of her family and wasn't able to take care of her daughter 24/7. So she asked me if I was able to, I took the job without hesitation. Bandage changing and cleaning the wounds three times daily. Assisted with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and shaving.
