Serves our nation's Veterans and Military community in partnership with the Department of Veteran Affairs. Verifies eligibility and educate Veterans on the enrollment process for the Choice program. Manages multiple tasks lists in accordance with directed timelines Meets call volume, manages inbound/Outbound calls Adheres to scheduled adherence, quality, Veteran appointment and other production standards Accurately resolves Veteran, VA and provider inquiries with a focus on first call resolution Protects the privacy of health information of patients when using or disclosing Protected Health Information (PHI). Enters and review patient data using CareRadius and CRM software systems Interpret and apply ICD-10 and CPT codes Creates complex authorizations for a variety of specialties Review of requests for continuation of care as well as medical documentation assessments Assures that charts contain MD referral orders, past medical records and documents required for clinical use Works with diligence by obtaining appointment preferences to prevent gaps in healthcare. Schedules patients for initial and follow-up appointments and maintains data in a computerized scheduling program. Fax orders, and medical documentation to requesting providers. Responsible for training newly recruited employees, helping them to adapt and become efficient in the organization.
