Hi I'm Ernestine Roberts, currently attending Sacramento City college and Secretary of the club and events board. I'm majoring in Prehealth occupations. I love to cook and clean, I enjoying educating myself and taking on new challenges. I love companionship, shopping, exercising, playing games and talking. I became a caregiver because of my passion and love for the health field and helping people. Personally I want to be a pediatrician so being a caregiver gives me the ability and opportunity to gain more knowledge working in a profound health setting. However, I love the companionship of being around the elderly. I've cared for my family members and clients that just wanted companionship, dementia and more. Some of my greatest achievements will be earning a Presidential Certificate, completion of the Community health worker course in 2 years instead of the standard 4 and passing the 2 part 3 hours multiple choice and 20 detailed free responses certification exam, making the Honor roll, Most valuable employee of the week, CPR certificate, wall of fame, outstanding student of the month. Community service * Conducted a booth on extreme diet makeover to the school * Educated the community about health through food substitutions, and my food plate games * Ran a health and fitness booth with the Mack rd Partnership such as Live well valley and look and feel good * Developed project management and communication skills through the cultural Awareness community health Education outreach on Cancer and drunk driving * Distributed groceries to the community and those in need * Ran a Health Tech Academy vendor and attended health fairs hosted by Senator Dr.Richard Pan and Franchise Tax export etc... * Conducted many screenings which include blood pressure tests, BMI tests, body fat test, vision test and other screenings.
