I became a caregiver through the inspiration and experience I had in caring for my grandfather. Between my aunts and I, we cared for him in home. I knew then that I wanted to dedicate my time into helping others. I love being a caregiver because it gives me joy to put a smile on someone else's face everyday. To help them in areas they need help. It makes me happy when individuals I care for tell me that I'm making a difference in their life. I am a mother of a six year old. My husband and I moved to California a little over a year ago. I'm originally from South Carolina. My future goal is to pursue school to be an Occupational Therapist.
