I am a caring, reliable person who enjoys driving people to appointments and doing light house work and gardening. I took care of my grandmother for a year or so before she had a severe stroke and had to be put in more professional medical care. Also, I took care of both grandfathers before they passed away, mostly companionship and house cleaning, but keeping their spirits up and minds engaged was a daily task for a long time. My partner, Chriss Robinson (a professional musician), is also available for maintenance work around your home and is quite a caring individual as well. He did elder care for John Duarte, of Martinez, for many years until his death. We are also active in helping at the VA hospital in Martinez as volunteers. The gaps in our availability reflect our other commitments to Concord High School (where Chriss teaches marching band), and our children, veterans, eastern star, and musical gigs... we are actually available during these times, as needed, with notice. My children are well behaved teenagers who live in the Sacramento area, and I still love to see them on alternate weekends.
