First off I would like to thank those who are reading this introduction! My name is Rebecca (Becky) and I'm 31 years old. I have been in the medical field as a CNA (certified nursing assistant) and caregiver/HHA for 11 years now. I have worked in many facilities, and with many different clients. Many of the clients I have worked with range anywhere from assisted living ,and medication reminders, to end of life care. I started out as a caregiver with my own father who was on hospice in 2011 and continued my education. My main goal and focus in my field is always making sure my clients/residents are safe, respected, and well taken care of. I am always interested in their history, as well as diagnoses, and never in a rush to complete a task. I am a care provider who is always willing to learn and gain new knowledge. Even when my job has been completed, I always like to find time to see if there is anything else I could do, and get feedback on something I could have done better. I have experience working in an ICU/PCU in a hospital setting as well. I am very energetic. outspoken, and spontaneous, as well as reliable. My main goal is to always walk away knowing I did a good job and especially knowing I made someone smile that day. The most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is going back to school in 2016 and getting my CNA license back. I love being in the medical field and have goals to continue with my education in the future.
