I started caregiving at the age of 17. My mother and older brother were in a bad car accident,my mother fell into a coma and my brother broke his rib cage and jaw. I stepped up to become my mothers caregiver. My mother was in a coma for six months, she woke with no memory of her life or kids. At that point in my life I realized how valuable life was and is. Physical therapy upper/lower extremity, figure8 (fingers,wrist,elbow,shoulder) knee to chest. Wheelchair posture, core balancing (seated), stretch exercises. Cervical spine upper, pericarp, oral exercise, abdominal massage, stoma care(wound care), ppd.
