Caring, loving, dependability, patience, compassion, attentiveness, and trustworthiness. I enjoy working with people that need help. Helping and taking care of them attracted me to being a caregiver. Providing care to people, who can't look after themselves, while maintaining their dignity, is an accomplishment in itself.
I am a friendly person, honest, and easy-going. I like being a caregiver because I like to work with older people. I like to give them the help and care that they need. I decided to be a care giver because my mother is care giver and she taught me to help the people who need time and dedication. I am proud when the people who I give care to are grateful and appreciative of my work.
Hi my name is Carolyn, I have been working as a caregiver for about 7 year. I have been working for myself and have had great success at doing so. I have worked for people who have Alzheimer. Loved them all and had a long term job with them until their families decided it was time to seek home care in facilities for them. I have worked with people who have parkinsn"s disease, and many more who just need help with meals preparation and shopping and doctor appointments. I have lots of good references from all these people and there families. I enjoy my work. I am a practicing Buddhist who's purpose in life is to spread happiness to all being.
I have 4 years of experience as a caregiver under my belt. I love caring for people it's my passion. In the near future I'd like to obtain my Bachelors in Nursing and specialize in pediatric oncology. This job has given me the tools I need to succeed in the medical field. I've learned so much caring for both females and males. My clients always tell me how much they love me working for them. I have a very cheerful, sweet, caring, loving personality as some of my coworkers would say "I'm a little ray of sunshine". I absolutely love my job. It has given me the opportunity to be a full time student. While allowing me to do what I love to do the most which is caring for people, and for that I will always be thankful for.

Being able to assist somebody gives me great satisfaction. I have been working as a certified NURSING assistant for 9 years, in a skilled NURSING facility. Working with charge nurses and other health team members ,helped me to improve and acquire skills needed to assist residents with their activities of daily living.
I became a caregiver because compassion and the value of human connections come natural to me. It is a great thing to make a positive difference in someone's life. Some of the best things about being a caregiver are the people that I get to meet and bond with. Being able to earn a living in a home environment holds core values to me and enriches my life. Some of my personal achievements are my skill at playing piano, and organizing and funding my own trip to Egypt for 2 months. I am Certified for First Aid/CPR/AED, and am currently enrolled in college to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I plan to further this education after graduating in March 2015 to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Personally, I was raised in the country on an animal farm. I love nature and the outdoors, respecting all living things and the ecosystem we all contribute to. I am very deeply rooted in where I come from. My values of living in voluntary simplicity help to keep me open, understanding, and curious. I believe I make a difference in this world by simply existing to touch the lives of others in a positive way. Some of my core values are friendship, creativity, self-respect, science, and music. I look forward to providing you with great companionship and care.

The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing.
I became a caregiver because of 2 main reasons. 1st is I believe that being a caregiver brings spiritual treasures that will not spoil or be taken away. As a hospice aid for 7 years I realized that we or our spirit belongs to a place where we will no longer suffer. 2nd I always pray for my time when my body also become old and fragile. When that time comes I will also like to be treated the same way I treated my client, with respect, compassion and care. The thing I like about caregiver is the joy that I get after the client passes away and hear from family and friends that I have done a good job. The personal achievement that I can say was from my last case with a couple in Los Altos where the husband died. I was live-in for five days and at the final days of the client I remained with him all night and called the children early in the morning to come and say their final respect to their Father. And surely it was his last day and the children was so appreciative of it. Just a quote from his recommendation letter "It is my absolute pleasure to write this recommendation letter. Raul is a consummate professional and a kind, loving, attentive and compassionate caregiver. He is worthy of my unconditional praise, resulting from the outstanding service Raul provided our family during the time of need" "The bond of friendship Raul engendered became so rich that Dad missed him terribly on Raul's days off with his own family. He would light up upon Raul's return Dad confided freely"

I own a car with a clean drivers license. I have excellent references. I am a committed, loyal person with sound judgment and high ethics. I learned a lot about how to care for them, communicate with them , keeping them happy and treat them with dignity. I love helping people in need and it's a very rewarding job because unlike most other jobs, I'm actually appreciated for the work I do and it feels good to be appreciated by the people I care for .
I became a Care Giver because I love helping others In their daily living activities. Love to see the gratitude expression on their faces, and for the residents to know and feel that I'm here for them to know that they are not alone. I know that making the decision of becoming a care giver has been the best choice of my life, because I love what I do, love to know that out there, somewhere the're are a lot of seniors who need assistance, and care in so many different ways, but the're may not be that many care givers who are willing to help them, so for me it's an honor and a privilege to to be considered to assist any resident or loved one with their ADLs. I am very responsible out going team player flexible with hours willing travel. I'm very careful at what I do, learn quickly. I'm very compassionate trustful, loyal. You won't regret hiring me to care for your loved one.
