I started being a caregiver for my grandmother who had Alzheimer and Dementia. I left my day care job as a preschool teacher to care for her until she passed away on April 28,2020. I've also taken care of three other elderly folks. I have about 10years experience working with the elderly. The skills that I have is that I am patient, caring, trustworthy, I speak both Spanish and English. I do light cleaning, transport patient to appointments and be a companion. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is spending time, listening to their stories, getting to know them. Making them feel loved and respected. And assisting them in what they may need.
