I have been in nursing for 13 years primarily in acute care. I believe that knowing how to work in a acute care setting has made a great framework in my nursing career. It has allowed me to be able to think quickly and safely. I enjoy nursing because it allows me to use my caring spirit to help those that are not feeling at their best. I also enjoy being a patient advocate and speaking up for patients rights and safety. My greatest accomplishment is returning back to school and completing my Bachelors degree in nursing. This will allow me to work as a teacher in the field of nursing.
