My name is Carrie Horchner, I have been a caregiver for 30+ years. My interest in nursing began after my first child was born. I have always found caregiving to be a very rewarding career with great opportunities for advancements. I have always been taught "do onto others as you would want them to do onto you". Helping others makes me feel good about myself. I feel that I am empathetic to others situations and have a lot of compassion to help those in need. When I was a nurse I was voted Nurse of the Year by the the Nursing Home Nurses Association in Arkansas.
