When my father health declined due to complications of Diabetes, my family and I had to place him in a skilled facility. My mother was concerned for my fathers safety and daily care, she asked me to apply for a job in the facility my father would be in. I did get a position at the facility and have been working in nursing every since!!! I like being a Care Provider because it is apart of my spirit and I am very people oriented. My pe rsonal achievement is to have been in the field of nursing for 16 years. The one thing that I can tell you about myself is I go above and beyond the expectations of what is asked of me and when I am providing care for someone, the client is my priority and has my undivided attention. ... more
