I try to be sensitive to my clients need for dignity in extremely vulnerable circumstances and treat all clients the way I would want to be treated. I became a caregiver by accident. I did daycare and from there I cared privately for a few special needs children and then was offered a job with and elderly client. I saw the need for elder care and I'm glad to care for people who can no longer care for themselves. I'm proud of being dependable. I've been with 3 clients until the end and was honored that they wanted me with them on their journeys. The characteristics that make me right for caregiving are patience, empathy and I try to bring kindness and positive energy with me wherever I go. I'm also energetic, efficient and reliable. My goal is always to be the caregiver I would want.
