Assisted the staff with documenting information in the EPIC system, and made pre-op phone calls reminding them of their NPO time and other certain reminders that pertained to their situation. Another one of my duties was to transport when necessary, making sure patients were guided or wheeled to their transportation was a big part of my job. Stripping disinfecting and making the hospital beds was my duty. Making sure the cabinets and drawers were stocked full was also important.
