My name is Wointu Zewde and I am a compassionate, professional caregiver with 16 years of experience. I work part time for Innovative Healthcare Consultants, but I am looking for full time work and would love the opportunity to help you and your family. Through my years in this field, many of my clients become like family. The most rewarding part of my job is caring for my patients inside and out. I love to cook nutritious meals and I genuinely enjoy spending time with my clients taking walks and making good memories. My weekday availability is flexible and my weekend availability is on a case by case basis. I invite you to message me with your desired schedule and we can work together to find the best fit. Here is a little more information about me: I became a caregiver to ensure that I could make a difference in someone's life by taking care of them and loving them. Now that both my kids are grown, I am thankful to have a career where I can spread my love and nurturing spirit. I hold many beliefs, but my most important ideal is that we must give back to others in the name of God, and being a caregiver has allowed me to do so. Something that I am proud is that I have always been able to overcome adversity in my life. I am divorced, I have two kids, and I struggled a lot as an immigrant from Ethiopia, East Africa. Despite my hardships I was able to raise both my children to become Bill Gates Millennium Scholars, meaning that they both had full ride scholarships to their colleges. My son just received his Masters degree in healthcare sciences and is pursuing a medical degree. My daughter works full time in Public Health (she also has her Masters degree). They are my pride and joy and through raising them it has made me a better caregiver, not just for my kids, but for every patient that I have taken care of. I hope we can work together.
