Part of what I like about caregiving is knowing I can help someone out with their assistance in their daily lives with little things that have now become harder for the individual to do on their own. I learned this with my father that passed away from cancer recently and as an artist I find that I can do this kind of work while also being able to help another individual out with their basic needs. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and would prefer to work with elderly patients that don't have much family interaction so I could be there as a buddy and also help out with their ADLs!
