I became a Caregiver because...I genuinely care about others. I am currently enrolled at a local college in my community, pursuing my degree in nursing. What I love about being a Caregiver is: having the opportunity to help others, assist in giving individuals a better quality of life, and feeling rewarded and great about my career choices in getting to serve others and their families. I was injured in a serious auto accident years ago....had a spinal cord injury and had to battle to be fully functional and self sufficient again, I fought to regain control, my way of life, while supporting a household and raising two teenage girls on my own while going to school. I am proud of my grit, how I never gave up, and the example I set for my children every day. I am a single mother, I am strong, caring and devoted to what I set my mind too. I am confident, dependable, I believe God and His teachings. I sing as a hobby and for extra income, I enjoy all sports, pets & feel most at peace when giving to others.
