Being a caregiver is more then physically taking care of someone's loved one to me. I put in all the love and compassion I have with every person I have the honor of working with. I take the time to know the families way of doing things and living so that I can do things the same way. I ask questions about their loved ones health and likes and dislikes. I learn about their culture and listen to all the family stories. I take the time to know who I am caring for because I want my clients families to be able to be comfortable when i am Caring for their loved one. I have 3 children and cared for many of my friends and their parents. So I guess you would say this comes natural to me. But even caring for an adult can me extremely difficult and stressful but I get through it with patients and understanding.
