I served in the military as an emergency room and obstetric technician at Castle Air Force Base, near Merced, California. After my discharge in 1975 I became an LVN and lived in Santa Cruz to attend Cabrillo College where I earned my ADN in Nursing in 1979. I worked at various skilled, subacute, and hospital jobs and hired on at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in 1996, and worked in many services as a float nurse through the nursing office, until I retired in 2011. After almost 4 years off I am looking for part time homecare work that can fit my schedule as a "stay at home dad" for my 16 year old daughter and wife of 18 years. I am hoping to find a compatible home environment to feel comfortable, and accepted, and still make a contribution. My RN license is active and clear, I have my current physical and TB screening, and a current CPR card. I do not smoke, drink or use drugs and will consent to bonding , fingerprinting, or a drivers license printout if needed by an employer. I am flexible and reasonable and want to provide service that is dependable and professional.
