I became a caregiver because I have a daughter who is disabled and in helping her with her disability I learned a lot in reference to people with disabilities. I also enjoy meeting and helping people. There are so many people out there whom are in need of assistance. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is I am able to make a difference in someone's life (a smile, an open ear, exercising, personal care, etc.....). I am able to motivate people to achieve their goals and this gives me joy. I am a very caring, compassionate, dependable person. It is important to me that my clients and /or supervisor(s) are satisfied.
