What makes me a great caregiver is seeing the patients as people with feelings, needs, and wants other than just someone I have to care of because it is my job. I personally have great relationships with the residents and love getting to know them. I always wanted to be in nursing so I decided to start somewhere. Being a caregiver has opened my eyes to the nursing industry and led to me learn a lot. I enjoy the feeling I get when work doesn't seem like work, it makes me feel like I am important and needed especially in the lives of my residents.
