* Assist with supervising a team of 10-13 Medical Assistants & manage clinic's nursing schedule to ensure adequate staffing. * Keep clinic flow moving and focus on productivity and efficiency, including assigning lunch times, breaks, ensuring exam rooms are set up & properly stocked, and supporting provider productivity. * Assist MA staff with rooming and discharging patients as needed, including nursing care within scope of practice. * Assess walk-in patients to ensure appropriate care or referrals are given. * Provide appropriate corrective action to staff in a timely manner. * Assist in ensuring clinic is with TJC, DHS, CHDP, and Medi-cal Managed Care requirements. * Actively participate in ensuring clinical quality outcomes and in achieving goals & metrics. * Administer medications & vaccines as ordered * Complete vital signs, BP, pulse, respiration, O2 stat, temperature, & pain level. * Conduct patient education as ordered. * Providing wound care as ordered. * Assist in properly obtaining medication refills & sending prior authorizations when needed. * Properly train staff in specialties and procedure set ups, OB/GYN, Family Planning, Pediatrics, General Medicine,& Podiatry.
