Hello! First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for reviewing my profile and taking time to learn a little bit more about me! I have been doing caregiving since 2015 and I've worked with many adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. I've also taken care of foster youth with Autism in a group home setting. Through my adventures with my clients, I've learned that my friendly personality and welcoming attitude has allowed me to build strong friendships with them, therefore allowing me to provide the type of care that they need in a safe and professional manner. I've always been attracted to helping anyone in need in any way I can and I found that my desire to help people is best suited for caregiving. It's the desire to be part of someone's life and helping them achieve their daily goals while also being their companion what has attracted me to pursuit a full time career in caregiving. It's also the thing I enjoy the most - going to work and helping a client with their hygiene so they look presentable and feel comfortable, going on outings to integrate them into the community while also allowing them to practice and achieve independence. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is going to work every day and seeing my clients happy and smiling because they're content with the care and attention they were given.
