I learned early on that simply engaging in conversation or encouraging my grandmother to go on walks, would alleviate much of her pain and boost her spirits almost instantaneously. As, I grew older I took on many volunteering and paid jobs to assist, care, and provide companionship to children with disabilities, the elderly, and terminally ill patients. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the ability to connect with the person and build a trustworthy friendship . My biggest personal achievement is, I have turned my passion for caregiving into my career goal which is to become a Medical Doctor.
