Hello. My name is Lisa. I am a trained nurse assistant since 2003. I enjoy helping people and having a share in making a positive difference in their life. Most of my professional work experience is in the hospital and I have experience working in other types of settings: skilled nursing, assisted living facilities, and home care settings. I have experience in assisting the nurse to help patients manage their acute care, chronic care and longer care conditions. My greatest strength is that I listen to my patients and I am trustworthy. I ask family members how to best care for their loved one. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to meet new people and contribute to the well-being of my client. My goal is to help clients restore their mobility and independence and adapt to their new circumstance in life and thrive. The personal achievement I am most proud of is that I continue to evolve from the choices that I make and that I am on this path of constant self-evolution. I am a professional caregiver and can work short-term or long-term cases. My availability is subject to change I am able assist clients who need additional help with personal hygiene care such as showers/baths, dressing and grooming, feeding, teeth brushing and flossing, toileting needs, light housekeeping, medication reminders, visits to appointments, light meal prep. I am comfortable with most dogs and cats and will share in the light care of setting out food and water for your furry friend and taking your pet out for walks. My minimum rate is $24/hr. I have proof of Shingles shot, Tdap and pneumococcal shots, and TB blood test completed. I am negative.
