One thing you need to have is patience I think that is important to have I never saw myself being a caregiver, but after my grandpa passed away from diabetes I had helped him with everything from bathing to grooming and also reminding him about his medication and I realized that it can be difficult for some elderly people and need some assistance. What I enjoyed about caregiving to my grandpa was knowing he was bathed and Fed and just to see him smile said it all.
