I became a caregiver so that I could help those who cannot help themselves. I find pleasure in hearing someone tell me I'm a Godsend, or thank me everyday for what I do. I became a caregiver after my mother fell ill with Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I care for her everyday, as well as my clients. I do not have any formal training; in other words, I am not a CNA or RN. But I am an HCA, certified in California. I have experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, and motor vehicle accidents. I will clean, cook, remind the client of their medications when it's time to take them, bathe the client(s), and just give them an all around good experience and keep them company. I've even been known to play games with them to keep their minds off of things (especially with dementia patients). I'd prefer not to do hospice work, though I have limited experience. I will always take great care of your loved one, and I'll always be on time and ready to work with a smile and a warm hello.
