What makes me a great caregiver is my patience, honesty, & friendliness. What attracted me to be a caregiver was ever since I was a little girl, I would remind my grandfather on taking his everyday meds and assisting him with his daily life activities. Many years later at the age of 15 it was time to care for my grandmother who required total care due to being non ambulatory and suffered with Alzheimer. After realizing that caring for the people that I loved is what I wanted to do for a career, I took a CNA class at the age of 19 and earned my certification. I enjoy helping people and seeing them make progress in their lives.
