I helped my Mom take care of my dad until he passed because of colon cancer. That's how I found out how rewarding being a caregiver is. I love helping people and I feel good doing it. It makes me feel proud when people tell me that I have made a difference in their lives, knowing that I was able to help them when they needed help the most. Having a background in Physical Therapy gave me an additional knowledge on how to better take care of my clients especially when doing transfers and helping with their exercises. I have worked in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly for ten years and I'm currently an administrator of an In-home Care Service.
