I really love my job as a care giver. Am patient with each of my clients and communicate clearly with each. I really love to see a smile on the faces of my clients. I have experience with the following; Dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer patients, fall risk clients and the elderly. I do help help my clients with duties like assisting with bathing and grooming. This can include but is not limited to; shampooing hair, finger and toenail care, brushing teething, and shower assistance. Basic food preparation. From grocery shopping to actually preparing the food. Medication reminders assuring that medications are taken at the correct time as directed by the doctor. Light housekeeping keeping a safe and clean environment, making the bed and and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen Transferring the client transferring the client from chairs, from the toilet, from bed, and to and from a vehicle. Toileting using the toilet to encourage comfort and prevent any infections Transportation to take the elder around to doctor s appointment and other activities. Monitoring changes in client's health.
