I started with the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2014. I was hired as a Patience Care Assistant/ Nursing Assistant in Spinal Cord. It was the most difficult unit but most rewarding, hard work but I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who served our country. Unfortunately for them they're now disabled but the most grateful people I have met in my life. I became a caregiver to help those who are unable to help themselves, to help families who unfortunately cannot help their family members due to many reasons. I find it rewarding helping people doing the very best that I can do for them. I am proud of the care and service I give to the Veterans at the VA and have achieved amazing care received acknowledgement from patient care advocate several times for the ICARE movement in the VA going above and beyond for our Veterans
