I became a care giver when my grandparents where diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. I had grown up with my grandma taking care of my great grandmother. So I knew what was going to happen. I quit my job and stayed home to help them. I am a caregiver because I want to help others suffering with this disease to find comfort in everyday living. Having gone threw my personal experience with Alzheimer's I know what it feels like to have a loved one in need, helping to relive family stress is also why I am a caregiver.
