I feel that being a great caregiver starts off with treating your patients as you would your own family. I've always been very caring and will nurture and provide support for the people I care for. As a caregiver you build relationships as you care for them every day. I'm very attentive to my patients needs. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my natural ability to care for others and try to make my patients comfortable and pain free. I'm getting ready to go into the nursing program and with my years of experience as a caregiver has prepared me for what's to come. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is that my patients know they are in great hands when I take care of them and leaves me very proud to say they trust me. My personal achievements are that every patient I've had there's never been a bad experience when their in my care. Another personal achievement for myself is that I will be going into the nursing program next year. I feel being a Cna will give me all the experience I need to have a successful nursing career.
