I wanted to become a Caregiver because I have always been taking care of people my whole life. Every job that I have had has involved being close to people and taking care of them. This is something that comes natural to me. What I enjoy best about being a caregiver is that at the end of the day I know I did something right and I feel like I have found my purpose in life. Putting other peoples needs ahead of mines is no problem and it helps me to appreciate that no matter what I am going through there are others who are going through worse and I am able to help them. An achievement that I am proud of is losing over 50 pound. I was over weight for a long time but when I got closer to 30 years old I could feel the affects it had on my body so I set my mind to losing weight and I am glad that I did it because I no longer deal with the body aches like I had before, I have more energy, and I hardly get sick. Something about myself, I am 31 years old. I have always been a happy person. I believe in coming into work with a smile on my face. I like meeting new people and getting to know more about them. I am close to my family and I believe that family is important. I like to travel to different countries. I prefer the Islands because of the food and warm weather.
