Since i got on this medical field I learned how to care, help people that are in need wether it's physically, mentally, emotionally. Some clients don't have family just being there as a great companion or someone to talk to for me that brings me happiness. I've worked in the facilities I've seen some seniors don't have nobody no family and no friends visiting some of them have Alzheimer's, bed bound, diabetic, disabilities I always say hi and introduce myself as their CNA for today , that one thing checking on them or saying hi! Before my shift start matters and very important. Who knows if someone greet them good morning or talking to them for a min or two, Hi and a smile change their mood to a happy day. Learning about their history what they've been through most of seniors wanted to tell their story but they don't have someone to talk to. I'm a good listener I love to talk about everything if you're a quiet person and love to watch TV I go with the flow. Getting know each other . Finishing my school as Licensed Vocational Nursing that's my greatest accomplishment although I'm not yet licensed I'm working on it. And raised my son a responsible child.
